ARTIST STATEMENT
As a draughtsman guided by the techniques of the old masters, my work transcends observation. I draw not only from what is seen, but also what is sensed and understood. A playmate of my own creation? Too mesmerizing to have been crafted by anything but imagination. If I were walking in this world alone, could I invent a counterpart more perfectly suited?

My work is an invitation away, to an unmasked realm, in a land no longer make-believe. I create through physical forms of visual expression where my figure shares what I feel. What unfolds is an intimately modest narrative designed to hold space for reflection.The world is bright with noise that disguises its comfort. I attack with interminable motion; to beat back the vulnerability of stillness as his hand outlines what only he can see.
